Mad Matt’s eXtracts (MMX) will provide VT cannabis cultivators, manufacturers and retailers with a wide range of services including extraction, testing, product formulation and manufacturing of consumer packaged cannabis products. MMX intends to lease a commercial space with 10,000+ square feet, enough to support four extraction divisions, a testing lab and a manufacturing space. Tandem mass spectrometry will be MMX’s primary method of analysis, differentiating MMX results from 99% of existing testing labs. This tool will also give the company a tangible advantage in product formulation and trace cannabinoid manufacturing.

 

Main Goals 

• Develop contract manufacturing capabilities for premium cannabis concentrates, inhalable vaporizer cartridges, as well as infused edible and topical products.

• Manufacture 144 analytical grade cannabinoid internal standards for sale to other licensed cannabis testing labs.

 

Mission

To push the envelope of cannabis purity testing standards by implementing state-of-the-art analyzer technology and to compete for market share in cannabis testing. MMX Labs will test for an industry leading list of phytochemicals and contaminants while providing rapid, reliable, potency and purity analysis for the VT cannabis market. MMX analytical cannabis laboratory is intended for use as a statewide 3rd party testing platform, as an in-house QC lab, as an R&D tool for manufacturing and formulations, as well as support for 3rd party white labeling, custom product development, and contract manufacturing services.

 

Products & Services

• Offer 50/50 hemp toll-processing, white label formulation and contract manufacturing services for a comprehensive menu of infused products in 2022.

• Manufacture a full line of cannabis and hemp infused cooking oils and infused products for providing wholesale to other VT licensees in 2023.

• Expand into cannabis extractions and infusions, upgrade hemp edibles production to topicals, and to full automation while building out for variety and volume in 2024. 

• Formulate proprietary cannabinoid and terpene isolate blends for targeted therapeutics & manufacture and sell bulk isolates to other manufacturing licensees. 

• Provide commercial scale ethanol, hydrocarbon, and scCO2 toll-processing services, extraction consultation, and pesticide remediation for all VT cannabis licensees.
